Post-Contract Services
Fair, documented valuation of changes and additions to the original contract scope.
Almost every project changes once it starts. A variation is any change to the work described in the contract — something added, removed or done differently. Each one needs to be valued, and disagreements over that value are one of the most common sources of disputes.
We assess contractor variation claims and value instructed changes at fair current market rates, using the rates in the contract wherever they apply. Every variation is measured, priced and recorded, so both sides can see how the figure was reached.
We keep a variation register throughout the job, which feeds straight into your interim valuations and final account. Read more in our guide: Dealing with Variations in Construction.
